Definition

 A text that present one point of view about an issue.

 Exposition text can be found in scientific books, journals, magazines and the editorial or editorial section of a newspaper.

 A text that elaborates the writer's opinion about an issue happening around him or her.


 Purpose

 To persuade the readers that the issue is on important matter.


 Structure exposition text


 1. Thesis
 A section that takes the reader to the main topic and shows the author's point of view.

 2. Arguments
 In this section the author provides arguments or opinions that support the main idea.  The argument must match the thesis.

 3. Reiteration
 This section reaffirms the author's position and opinion on the main topic.


 The Benefit of Studying at a University


 - Thesis
Many people believe that going to a University is a waste of time and money.  They prefer to have a job as soon as a State graduate from high School.  On the other hand, there are also others who think that it is bastus study at the university and get a bachelor degree.  Therefore, the idea of ​​pursuing higher education comes with several merits.

 - Arguments
First, studying at a University helps improve the students' personal growth.  They are accustomed to managing their time responsibly from doing the assigned tasks, attending faculty and sorority activities, and fulfilling other responsibilities as a University student.  Thus, they would gain an important skill, which is time management.

Second, campus activities can also expand the student' Network since they are more likely to make a lot of people with the same interest.  Through study clubs, mentoring activities, and olso university organizations, students may find their potential working partners.  This will make a job hunting process easier in the future.

In addition, having a bachelor degree that could be only earned through studying in a University is the most common way to pave a path for a better career.  By studying in a specific major, students are able to broaden their knowledge in that area and become an expert.  As a result, it would lead them to their potential career choices.  Furthermore, being a specialist would give the student promising job opportunities.  Once the students possess distinct and exceptional skills, companies would surely approach them.
